Friendships, relationships, jobs, all need time to grow and develop. Take a look at what you give time to in your life.

How many hours a day do you work? spend time with your children? your spouse? your parents? your siblings? your friends? your crafts or other hobbies? watching television? playing sports? exercising? writing? singing? reading?

If the amount of time given to a person, interest, or hobby denotes its value in your life, then how valuable does the amount of time you give show each of them to be in YOUR life? Presumably your closest relationships and friendships get most of your time. Or do they? There is no judgment in the question. But it is interesting to think about.

Then there is the topic of a Higher Power. When I first started to develop my relationship with my Higher Power, I, of course, wanted a deep abiding relationship with my Higher Power. I wanted my Higher Power to be my best friend, someone I could rely on to help me get through whatever was coming my way so that I could become the person I wanted to be on all levels.

I wanted to experience serenity, and radiate serenity, regardless of what was happening in my life. I wanted a Higher Power who would always be there for me so I could be there in the most effective way possible for myself and those around me. And I wanted a Higher Power who would let me know how I could best be of service to those around me. I wanted to get to know my Higher Power, and let my HP get to know me, just as I would any friend.

So, key to this process of course was time. Would I find the time to fit in my Higher Power into my life? Will you? I decided that, yes, I would. And over the years, the extent to which I have been willing to do that has impacted my ability to live life from that calm center. More time given to nurturing that relationship has born the fruit of greater peace in my life and less, has meant less.

The next few posts will talk about a few different ways to spend meaningful time with a Higher Power. Be sure to tune in to read about a few novel ways to communicate with your Higher Power that could help you develop the inner calm to BE that Loving Mirror for your loved ones! It takes time to develop the relationship and time to develop the calm as a result of the relationship. And there is no better time than now to get started!

Looking forward to sharing more with you soon!

In the meantime,

Have a Loving Day!

All the best,
